Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Personal Trainer to join our fitness team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about health and fitness, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong desire to help clients achieve their fitness goals.

Responsibilities
– Conduct fitness assessments to evaluate clients’ current fitness levels
– Develop personalized exercise programs based on clients’ goals and abilities
– Instruct and demonstrate proper exercise techniques to clients
– Motivate and support clients throughout their fitness journey
– Monitor clients’ progress and make adjustments to their workout plans as needed
– Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle choices to enhance overall well-being
– Maintain a clean and organized workout environment

Qualifications
– Certification in Personal Training or related field
– Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and exercise science
– Experience in designing individualized fitness programs
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work with clients of all fitness levels and backgrounds
– Previous experience in physical education, sports coaching, or related field is a plus
– Proficiency in fitness sales and promoting health club services is advantageous

Public Works Operator

Job Description:

Under general supervision, Public Works Operators perform a variety of tasks in the repair, maintenance and construction of municipal infrastructure and facilities, while performing other related work as required. Performs and assists with the maintenance of city streets, traffic controls, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, lights, and other city owned operations including the water and wastewater facilities. Performs labor activities such as digging, excavation, and trenching. Mows and trims grass and brush on city owned properties and in public parks. Operators will use a variety of equipment and tools to fulfill their duties.

Essential Physical Abilities:

  • Ability to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls.
  • Ability to walk, climb, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Ability to lift, pull, push up to 100 pounds unassisted when necessary.
  • Ability to see with 20/20 vision or to be corrected to 20/20.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

 

*As a Public Works Operator you will be required to work outside at times in several types of weather conditions. You may work in high places and be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals. There is a possibility you may have to work outside of normal operating hours due to emergencies.
