Chicken Permits

Yes, you can have Chickens in Mount Vernon. But first, you must fill out a permit and receive approval. To obtain a permit, review the rules listed on the attached form, fill it out, and bring it to City Hall to register your chickens. The cost of the permit is $10.00.
