Heritage Days — Mount Vernon’s biggest summer festival — takes place every July in Uptown Mount Vernon. This event celebrates the past, present and future of Mount Vernon while bringing neighbors together to raise funds for community-based organizations. Past projects that have benefitted from the event include the Mount Vernon Volunteer Firefighters and the Mount Vernon Wrestling Club.
